Driussi trots out the part line

TRANSFER TALK

Driussi-trots-out-the-part-line

South American players all seem to answer transfer speculation in the same way, presumably that all stems from their media training. Young River Plate striker Sebastian Driussi trotted it out when he was asked about the transfer speculation linking him with a move away from Argentina.

"I have not had any specific offers. So I try to be isolated from those things. My mind is in River."

They all seem to talk about no specific offers or my agent deals with that. Agents have a greater involvement in where a player ends up playing than perhaps in Europe. The problem being third-party ownership because, despite they not being allowed to influence where a player move, they do.

If you had an investment you would want that investment to do the best for you, not themselves. The investors want a big money move, they don't really want their investment being bought out cheaply by Premier League clubs, hence we see few young Brazilians or Argentinian's in England unless they have been to Europe first, like Erik Lamela.
