King and Kane

Spurs ambassador, Spurs legend, Ledley King was full of praise for the team and for Harry Kane after watching Spurs thrash Leicester City 6-1 at the King Power Stadium to record our biggest away win in the Premier League.

As a quite superb centre-half King knows a thing or two about quality attackers and he sees one in Harry Kane, I think everyone does now, even the normally biased ex-Arsenal and England centre-forward Alan Smith on his Sky Sports commentaries has had to start praising him.

Running out of superlatives for this team and the goal machine @HKane.There are some special times round the corner🥇#COYS

Harry Kane was naturally interviewed after the game last night. He needed just two goals to hit the magical 30 goals mark once again and surpassed that with ease. His aim is the Golden Boot and clearly his teammates were doing all they could to help him achieve it, for which he thanked them.

"I wanted one or two for the golden boot but to get four and to play how we did was a perfect night. Thanks to my teammates."

  1. Run out of superlatives. That's the last one in the box for sure.

  2. Not to take anything away from HK but the THFC interviewer was keen to point out (last night with Poch) that this is the very first time that Spurs have had three players scoring more than 20 goals apiece...ever.

  3. Very impressed with Dier taking over the central defender position from Toby who I guess was a better choice to cope with Vardy's pace.
Didn't Lesniak look like ' a duck taking to water'.
Last night there was 'stuff happening' away from the HK & Sonny show that simply serves to make a mockery of the majority of 'press generated' transfer rumors.
