Spurs linked Defrel, Sancho and Foyth news

TRANSFER TALK

Tottenham Hotspur, RB Leipzig and Leicester City all have an interest in Sassuolo striker Grégoire Defrel, who is being chased by fellow Italian side AS Roma. The Italian press are reporting the 26-year-old (27 next June) is on the verge of joining Roma for around £17.71 million (€20m - AUS$29.73m - US$22.84m).

We are interested in Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho. The 17-year-old (18 next March) is under contract until 2020 but City are apparently concerned that he wants to leave. The concern for the talented right-footed left-winger is that there isn't a realistic path through to the first team.

It looks as if this Juan Foyth to Tottenham is a goer with his Argentinian club Estudiantes in financial trouble.

La Plata newspaper El Dia have revealed that his club need to pay £2.25 million (€2.54m - AUS$3.78m - US$2.9m) to the Argentine Football Association. They will be restricted to signing four players if they don't pay and will lose 50% of their TV rights money, which would naturally have it's own knock on effect.

All in all, they have to sell someone and there are reports that a £7.8 million  (€8.8m - AUS$13.09m - US$10.05m) fee has already been agreed for the 19-year-old (20 in July) Argentinian centre-back.  His club president Juan Sebastian Veron has travelled to finalise the deal so we can expect to hear something soon.
