Tottenham linked to 12 Inter Milan players

TRANSFER TALK

The Daily Mail are suggesting that Tottenham is looking for £24 million-a-year for naming rights for the new stadium, which many feel will be the Nike stadium. Indeed there have been images released that already call it the Nike stadium.

Moving on to Tottenham Transfer News and the ever unreliable Italian press have revisited one of their favourite stories, Inter Milan trying to raise cash to buy players., which therefore means Tottenham interested in buying one of their players!

To that end, we at Spurs have thus far been linked with:

  • 24-year-old (25 next February) Argentinian international striker Mauro Icardi
  • 20-year-old (21 in August) Brazilian international striker Gabriel Barbosa
  • 28-year-old (29 next February) Croatian international midfielder Ivan Perišić
  • 30-year-old (31 next February) Italian international winger Antonio Candreva
  • 30-year-old (31 in August) Chilean international defensive midfielfer Gary Medel
  • 24-year-old (25 next February) French international defensive midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia
  • 24-year-old (25 in November) Croatian international central midfielder Marcelo Brozović
  • 18-year-old (19 next May) Italian Under-19 international striker Andrea Pinamonti
  • 24-year-old (25 next January) Portuguese international midfielder João Mário
  • 32-year-old (33 in September) Brazilian international centre-back Miranda
  • 29-year-old (30 next February) Italian international centre-back Andrea Ranocchia
  • 25-year-old (26 next May) Colombian international centre-back Jeison Murillo

The latest stories read we have returned to a player dubbed the 'Croatian Xavi', versatile midfielder Marcelo Brozović who once again is quoted as needing £22.58 million (€25m - AUS$37.12m - US$29.44m) to take him away. He is under contract until 2021.
La Gazzetta dello Sport tell us that Tottenham have been trying to sign 23-year-old (24 next May) Croatian international midfielder at Real Madrid Mateo Kovačić, but that has been proving difficult so have turned attention to Brozović, something we have been hearing for the past couple of years.
